Here is a plan for the contents page of my magazine ;

This is a plan I have made in a Word Document which I have designed roughly where each component is going on my conetents page. I have made it so that I am prepared when I make the real page later on.

School Magazine - Cover Plan

Here is a basic plan of my upcoming magazine cover. It includes the layouts and the main features ; 

                                                       

This is a plan of what I want my school magazine front cover to look like and where everything is going to be placed. This a plan so that I am up to speed when I make the real thing.

Preliminary Task - School Magazine

This is the first task I have done for my media studies coursework. We had to look on the internet and find a few different school magazine covers. This was to get an idea of what a school magazine looks like to make mine in the future.

These are the pictures with my views;

I like this magazine cover as it uses a combination of bright colours that stand out to the audience. The picture fills up the whole page, so there is no unnecessary space/gaps. You can see clearly from the picture that it is a school magazine. 

This picture also uses all of the space and the colours from the picture match nicely with the colours used for the writing and other editing. However. it could improve by using different colours for the text and there is only text on one side. 

This shows a magazine for an audience of parents as it appears to be smart and presentable. The title at the top covers a lot of the page, so it could have been made a bit smaller to not hide the person's face in the picture.
